Pics from my sons 7th birthday party!!!

Here are the pics from my sons 7th birthday part today. I did a pirate theme, with a treasure hunt and the whole nine yards, as well as home made pirat hats from ewspapers:) A couple of his presents he got arent in the pics, they were a spywear night goggles set, the hat and scarf set I made him, and a moon sand kit. Here are the pics, enjoy!!!

Happy Birthday Joseph!!!

Today is my big 7 year olds birthday!!! His father is going to surprise him tonight with a visit on his way from Georgia to NY. He says he is moving there and will stop in on his way, how um, very considerate... We are having his party tomorrow tho, since we just had Thanksgiving yesterday. We are having an awesome pirate party!!! Treasure chest hunt and all!! I did let him open a present this morning though, beings its his birthday and all. I let him open his fancy shancy Spywear night vision glasses!!! He just loves them!!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday, we ate until we were near to burstin,lol. Now we have to get the house back in order for the birthday party tomorrow.

Found the memory card for the camera! Here are some quick wip pics for the Irish Hiking scarf Im working on for my sons bday this Friday. Trying hard to have the hat and mittens done by then too, but we will see!!!

Well, I find it very funny that yes, we did in fact find the camera. Why is that so funny niki, you might be asking??? Cuz, I still cannot take any pics!!! We have lost the freakin memory card!!! Ok, maybe its not funny, but its a little funnyish right???

So, because I cant show you knitting pictures, I thought I would share other pics already on the computer of me and the boys. Here ya go:)

Well, about hlf way through my shawl i had noticed that I ended on a wrong stitch at the end of therow. I kept going, hoping it would even out. Well, it di, BUT I could see where it wasnt right on that one row, and it drove me bonkers. SOOOOOO I frogged it. Its ok though. I am working on a blanket for my 2 yo ds. Just using some bright yellow Red Heart. My own pattern with cables.. I am still looking for the camera for pics. I promise I will get them as soon as I can!







Things are going good at my sisters house. I think I am going to try and stay here until February or March to save up some money to get our own place. Finding a job would help with that,lol. I am trying thouhg. I dont have a car though, so is a little hard, and we live out in the country.



Well, maybe I will find her camera today sometime and finally get some pics up! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Slacking already!!!

So, I promised pictures, but my sister cant find the camera. Maybe it will turn up tomorrow.

I enrolled the boys today in our new local school. It is an all year round school, and it really surprised me how much time they get off!!! They don't even go to school from last week till December 8th, and then they have three more weeks off next month for Christmas vacation...

Got the most wonderful call from my ex husband tonight. He is still trying to explain to me why he cant possibly afford to pay me child support. Whatever, we will survive...


Joe's b-day is the 28th, just would be nice if he would help right now. He says he cant make it up for his birthday either cuz his girlfriends daughter has to go see her father. so what he is really saying is he is paying for that trip, so he cant get his own child anything for his birthday or come and see him. This has been the most frustrating 6 months of my life. ( That is how long ago he left us for this other woman, and we got divorced). But, like i said, we will survive:)

Um, do you know how freakin cold it is here in NC??? It snowed yesterday for like 20 minutes. i wish I could have gotten a pic of it. My kids all went out and played in the flurries!!! They loved every minute of it. Ive really got to find the camera!!!
